June is Pride Month and the town of Onset celebrates the amazing diversity in our Community!. Flag raising ceremony, invocation and celebration with special musical guest The Femmes!

There will be vendors, food trucks, a raffle and more!

Join a BaysGiving shellfishing and clam boil feast at the Onset Bay Center! Take a boat ride over to Burgess Point, step into some waders, and learn how to shellfish for clams and quahogs. After the harvest, head back to Onset Bay Center to learn how to prepare the quahogs, with help from a local chef . . . and, of course, feast on what you've made!

Due to unuusal inclement weather the annual Harvest Moon Festival has been moved to Saturday Sept 30, 2023 with a rain date of Oct 1st.

The Harvest Moon Festival is one of the biggest events in Onset. Activities for the whole family! Food trucks, vendors, Carved Pumpkin Contest, and Live Music! An Antique/Classic Car Show. Face Paintinting and Balloon Art. Topped off by an evening fireworks display!

An annual favorite for locals and visitors alike, hundreds of flares illuminate the beaches of Onset Bay.

Kayak around beautiful Onset Bay and pick up your poker hand at various stops in the bay. Return to shore, exchange cards for $2 each if you like, best hand wins! Prizes given in several categories. Pizza party on the beach to follow.

Onset Bay is a beautiful setting to witness the departure of the sun. Join the folks at the Onset Bay Association for a walk along Onset Beach to Shell Point. Their staff photographer will be onsite to answer questions and assist with settings and tips on cameras as well as cell phones.

Join us for a relaxing paddle as the bay turns pastel and prepares to greet the moon. All equipment is supplied by the Buzzards Bay Coalition. Previous paddling experienced required. We will be paddling for an hour and a half on a moving tide.

Join the Onset Bay Center for the Pumpkin Paddle Parade. Carve a pumpkin, dress up in your spookiest costume, and paddle with your pumpkin around Wickets Island! This family-friendly event is free and open to all members of the community!
