Starting at High School then the route proceeds down Main Street to its destination in Besse Park.

Join a BaysGiving shellfishing and clam boil feast at the Onset Bay Center! Take a boat ride over to Burgess Point, step into some waders, and learn how to shellfish for clams and quahogs. After the harvest, head back to Onset Bay Center to learn how to prepare the quahogs, with help from a local chef . . . and, of course, feast on what you've made!

Join Wareham’s Veterans Day Parade on Saturday, November 11, starting at Besse Park at 10 am, and ending with a ceremony at Centre Park, followed by a free meal for our Veterans. The theme of the parade is “Honor Our Veterans.”

Middleborough Tourism Committee announces the 10th annual Crantoberfest to be held Saturday October 14, 2023 at the Middleborough Town Hall 10 Nickerson Ave from noon to 5:00 p.m. Free admission and free parking. Events include the great Cranberry Bakeoff at 1:00 pm, entries must be dropped off between 12:00 noon and 1:00 pm.

Due to unuusal inclement weather the annual Harvest Moon Festival has been moved to Saturday Sept 30, 2023 with a rain date of Oct 1st.

Fundraiser: Taste of our Towns. Great opportunity to sample food from many local restaurants to raise money for Turning Point of Wareham which helps homeless and near homeless people to help themselves. Tickets purchased at the door for $1 per ticket and each taste costing 2-6 tickets.

The 3rd annual Cape Cod Kindness Festival will take place on Sept 9th. Lots of fun kindness based activities, bake sale, silent auction, canal walk etc. This event is a fundraiser for Kind Hearts for Kids on World Kindness Day.

The Onset Cape Verdean Festival will return this year on Saturday, August 12 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Join over 10,000 visitors from around the country at Onset’s Lillian Gregerman Bandshell to listen to Cape Verdean music, eat food and purchase merchandise from over 80 vendors and an additional 20 food vendors.

June is Pride Month and Onset will celebrate the amazing diversity in our Community! Flag raising ceremony, invocation and celebration with special musical guest Teddy Matthews! Reception to follow at the Onset Bay Center.

Memorial Day Weekend! Wareham Oyster Festival will be held on Sunday May 28, 2023. There will be live music, crafters, artisans, a 5k walk/run, educational series, oysters, other food options, and more.

The Onset VFW Pavilion, 4 Gibbs Ball Park Road, will celebrate Memorial Day with food, music and art on Saturday, May 27 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Bushcraft is the art of wilderness survival. Create memorable experiences outdoors and instill a sense of “rewilding,” through activities including: fire lighting, shelter building, knife and axe skills, solar still and water purification methods and following the “Bushman’s Code.” This activity will focus on fire building.

Onset Bay is a beautiful setting to witness the departure of the sun. Join the folks at the Onset Bay Association for a walk along Onset Beach to Shell Point. Their staff photographer will be onsite to answer questions and assist with settings and tips on cameras as well as cell phones.
