Hi, I ‘m Melissa!

Originally from Massachusetts, now living in the southeast. I started my venture into short-term rentals after staying at an Airbnb in the Onset area and having a negative experience. I thought, I can do MUCH better than this. As a frequent traveler, I have an idea of what folks need and want in their vacation home. I strive to deliver a comfortable, carefree experience and elevate that to the next level.

Though I live out of state, I am not one of those fly-by owners who is never around. I am there quite a bit during the off-season and care deeply about the community, getting to know the people here, and supporting local businesses. My family lives just 15 minutes away and I bought it to be closer to them. In fact, the Zandy Castle was named after my mom, Sandy. This is my home away from home. I hope to provide my guests with that same home away from home feeling.

I am relatively new to this (my second season) and would appreciate any suggestions for improvement. I would also love to hear what you did enjoy during your visit - about the house and/or recommended area activities and points of interest that I can share with future guests.
