The Most Iconic Victorian House in Onset

One of the most identifiable landmarks in Onset, one that makes it instantly distinquishable from other seaside towns, is the big yellow Victorian house on Point Independence. A popular spot for photos, this house features a large white gazebo, tall American flag, and is surrounded dozens of yahts on the sparkling bay. There are many Victorian houses in Onset but this is the Queen of Victorian homes here. I plan to explore the history of grand house further. For now, I found a Boston.com article about when the house was last listed for sale in 2015 and the Zillow listing which has some great photos if you want to have a closer look. If being sold today, the price is estimated to be $1.75 million!
