First Guest Reviews!

I was so excited to have my very guests. After my first one, I kept checking to see if they left a review. After a couple of weeks went by, my head was spinning….did they hate the house, did they love it and not have time to leave a review? As a new host, I was hoping for good reviews but am also interested in anything I may have missed the mark on.

One guest contacted me via text . He told me how much he enjoyed his stay there, but also gave me a couple of great suggestions on things to add. His wife even texted me saying that they never would have known that I was a new host as everything seem so well thought out…the little things like extra blankets, a magnifying mirror, and good lotion! I asked if they would consider leaving a review as I had none yet and know how important these are.

Looking on Vacasa I see no reviews after a week. I felt certain that this couple would leave one. So I took a chance and reached out to them and learned that they left a review on Vrbo. So after checking, I realized that every guest I had thus far, had left a 5-star review…yay! I thought the reviews would be pulled into the Vacasa listing but apparently that is not the case. I am thrilled that I have three 5-star reviews thus far on Vrbo and Airbnb. These are especially important as I go into next summer’s season since this a beach house. So happy all the effort has delighted my guests!
