Zandy Castle Receives Historic House Plaque

The Zandy Castle (built in 1880) was approved for a plaque by the Wareham Historical Society. I am super excited about this! One of the reasons I bought the house was due to the history and Victorian architecture. It also makes me so happy to see other Victorian homes in the area having some restoration work done. These gems should be preserved for posterity and greatly enrich this beautiful village. The plaque program is part of a town-wide effort to recognize historic and architecturally significant buildings and/or structures. Homes over 75 years old are eligible to apply https://warehamhistoricalsociety.com/historic-plaque.../
